Summary0002860: Metadata view should aggregate tracks into albums using (year, album) pair as a key
DescriptionCurrently, metadata view aggregates tracks into albums using only their album name. This means that if we have two albums with the same name but released in different year (i.e. remaster) by the same artist, gmpc aggregates songs of both into one 'album', showing only the first year next to it.

I think that gmpc should use both year and album name as the key to album aggregation. Especially that listing them as ('Year', 'Album') suggests such a grouping.

this fails for albums that have songs recorded in different years. (best off, collections etc).
There is no golden solution, shamefully

I guess that the best solution would be to allow user to choose the behaviour from within Preferences.

I am not sure if adding options is the best way to solve this problem.
Because where does it end? I prefer not to add 1024 different options to fine-tweak stuff.
