| Description | When using MPD v. 0.13.0 compiled with FLAC above version 1.1.2-r8 (Gentoo), already calculated replaygain-values in FLAC-files aren't being applied on playback, making them sound "too loud" and with variable loudness depending on file. This issue is reproducible when (re)compiling MPD 0.13.0 with - current repository versions in Gentoo - FLAC v. 1.1.4, 1.2.1-r1 and 1.2.1-r2. Compiling with FLAC v. 1.1.2-r8 and the replaygain-values are being applied as expected. | |||||

I think I can confirm this one.. I've created a wav file with a -30db amplification, created a flac added the +30dB gain factor. but it isn't played correctly. |

It seems the flac decoder never calls the metadata handler for the replaygain tag. |
